Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Guardians, Students and Families,
It is my pleasure to welcome everyone to Silver Trail Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. As the proud principal of this amazing school, I cannot wait for the exciting year ahead! Our mission here at Silver Trail Middle School is to create personalized learning environments that supports all students and our community.
During the 2024-25 school year we experienced tremendous growth in academics, athletics, the arts and community service. Along with the tremendous learning gains our students experienced in the classroom, we were District Finalist in both boys’ and girls’ basketball, Regional Champions in two divisions in Color Guard and numerous academic achievements across all grade levels and subjects. Our students continue to work hard and succeed at everything they do while demonstrating the dynamic qualities of a Mustang! We look forward to even more successes during the 2025-26 school year!
As a graduate of the Broward Schools system and a Pembroke Pines resident, I believe in creating a school environment that is designed to support our community. My team and I are dedicated to creating strong relationships with our families and I am a strong believer in the importance of open communication. I encourage you to reach out to any of us with any questions or concerns you may have or, just to introduce yourself.
Safety and security is extremely important and we will be doing a variety of safety drills throughout the school year. Students will be expected to be in uniform and wear their school IDs at all times while on campus. Visitors to campus must provide a valid photo ID to enter the premises and must enter through our single point of entry. Most importantly I want to remind all students and families safety is everyone’s responsibility so please if you see something please say something.
Classes begin promptly at 9:10 AM and dismissal begins at 3:50 PM. Student arrival begins at 8:40 AM. We encourage all students to arrive early and ready to learn.
I am privileged and honored to serve as the principal of Silver Trail Middle School and believe that it takes everyone working together to achieve success. I am looking forward to seeing our returning students and families, and in meeting our new students and families. Please remember, we are always available to offer support and to focus on what is best for our students and community.
